I had a group of 3 start in an 18 x 18 x 24.(1 male 2 females). I understand male heavy is better. The adults are much bolder than the juveniles.

They breed like crazy and before long their were 30 frogs of various sizes in this tank. Granted you would only be aware of the huge number of babies hiding in the leaflitter during feeding time.
