I blame the league for not catching it and fixing it, not Tom Brady for doing it. If you're going to make rules... enforce them when it matters.
Also, there's the fact that this all (of course) gets blown out of proportion by New York fans with inferiority complexes that believe the only way to become a dynasty is to buy it.
Here is the thing though, there's trying to gain a competitive edge and then there's cheating. Handing the ball to the referee over/under inflated is trying to gain a competitive edge. When you hand the referee a ball, then after he checks that ball, you steal the ball and sneak off into the bathroom to alter it with a pin? THAT is cheating.
Also their fumble numbers were pretty eye popping, much harder to strip/punch the ball off a running back or wide receiver with a significantly flatter ball.
