The "Pod" has the greater spread, and the dome basically shoots the light more downward.

For folks reading this that need even more concentrated light, I also have the Jungle Dawn™ 36w MEGA Spotlights that have a bean angle that is pretty tight, around 40 degrees.

Please note:
These are not on the LYR web-site yet, because they are custom made.
And I must remind folks....
LightYourReptiles.com does not just buy these all pre-made out of a warehouse somewhere,
That is because the diodes are mixed in a pattern that is an exclusive LYR design.

Each diode in a Jungle Dawn LED has to be hand set and hand soldered (up to 100 of them per lamp).
As opposed to the normal, cheaper way to manufacture LED by stamping out the LED plates with all the same color diodes that are then all press soldered on by a machine.

Hi Giga,
They have a blended spectrum of 4.5 and 6.5k diodes.
The array is made up of 30 x 1 watt Bridgelux diodes.

Yes, quite a few...

but none of these yet because they are so new.

However, the "Jungle Dawn™" Diode mix is the same in these as the screw ins... so you can see the nice spectrum you get in some folks pics.
