Default Moving sale - 49285 - PICKUP ONLY

I mean it, I'm not shipping frogs, if I wanted to do that I'd move them to the new house. I'm not even responding to messages asking about shipping, it just isn't going to happen.

Since I'm moving and own two houses, I need to simplify my life a bit and prune down the frog collection. You must pick these up. PM me to reserve your frogs. All adult frogs come with a (probably overgrown and crappy) tank. Frogs (and greenhouse) are free with the purchase of a house...

D. leucomelas ($200) - 5 adults (~2.5 years old), 29 G tank. They are 'proven' in the sense that I've raised up froglets from this group in the past. But they haven't laid for me in over a year, I have no idea why.

D. azureus ($200) - Well proven trio (~2 years old), 20G tank.

D. auratus 'Blue and Black' ($100) - Two adults (I think both of the same gender)

D. tinctorius 'Powder Blue' - $200 - Three huge adult males (I'm pretty sure). I have raised up froglets from this group, but the female (or the frog that I assumed was female) died about six months ago.

Froglets: $25 each, cheaper if you get a lot (let's make a deal!). Most are younger than two months. More might be out of the water by the time you get here.
Azureus - 6
D. auratus 'Blue and Black' - 4
D. tinctorius 'Inferalanis' - 7

Tadpoles - four or five morphs of things similar to the above. Various ages. $10 each - possibly cheaper if you get a lot.

No, I don't have pictures. Really, I'm up to my neck in stress right now. They look like frogs. Check out the pictures on the forum if you don't know what the morphs look like.

Now is a great time to get cheap orchids, as well. Mostly stuff too big for a tank, but you need plants for your windowsill.

If you will sell me all the frogs at the stated prices and throw the house in for free you've got a deal

As for orchids I'm looking for Dendrobium parvulum or delicatulum (the ones that are blue) and Cleisocentron merrillianum. Its a long shot but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I might also be interested in any mini species that flower red, white, or blue and/or purplish and have a very compact or mat forming growth habit...especially if they like wetter conditions. Got anything like that?

I think I might have a 150k frog around here somewhere... you buy that one and the rest and I'll make the house free, sure. *grin*

Not much in the way of miniature orchids left, I've stopped buying things for now... Although the Cleistocentrum merrillianum you can get at Andy's. I bought two, they are pretty neat.

Bummer, I didn't see a 150k frog listed...I said at stated prices ...I probably will be ordering the Cleistocentrum merrillianum from Andy soon, unless a cheaper source is found. Got any advice on growing that one? I'm thinking of putting it in a new viv I'm building. I've read it can tolerate and even likes to be grown very wet, so I was thinking of putting it next to a drip wall on one side of the Hex. I'll also have fans for good airflow.

I figured I could state a few later... I could put you in a house in Detroit (or Lansing) for about $1000 though. Lansing is not so bad, but not so sure I'd want the 1K house in detroit.

I've been growing the cleisostoma (or however it is spelled) for about a year now. It isn't thriving, but it is still alive. Bloomed one of them. Fairly warm, I water them when I water the mounts, a lot of air movement. Someday I'll figure out how to grow them well, it is an awesome little blue flower. Looking at the leaves, you'd have to guess almost full sun, but I've been reluctant to try them that bright. Andy's is the only place I know that has them, and if I recall they weren't cheap.

wow a 1000k? really ? Decent and livable? Can you find me one like that in Colorado or the rocky mountains in general or the pacific northwest?

Here are couple of the rescources I've found on growing Cleistocentrum merrillianum. Cleisostoma is another species group isn't it?

IOSPE PHOTOS (pretty general)

Cleisocentron merillianum - Orchid Board - Most Complete Orchid Forum on the web ! (much more specific)

Default Re: Moving sale - UPDATE

Well... I've found homes for most of them. Still have two things to offer (unless somebody doesn't show up!) New prices.

D. leucomelas $180 - 5 adults (~2.5 years old), 29 G tank. They are 'proven' in the sense that I've raised up froglets from this group in the past. But they haven't laid for me in over a year, I have no idea why.

D. tinctorius 'Powder Blue' - $180 - 29 G tank. Three huge adult males (I'm pretty sure). I have raised up froglets from this group, but the female (or the frog that I assumed was female) died about six months ago.

Still not shipping them, sorry.

Thanks

Rob
