Young Vanzo calling

So I know there is intermediate information on this species and on a care sheet for imitators (as I can't find one specifically for vanzos) it said they can call as early as 3 months. I just heard one of my group of three calling and they are only 5 weeks oow today! I think this sounds crazy myself, but I saw him and heard him call 6 times! So I thought I'd add this bit of info to the hobby.

That's crazy weird! I've never heard of such a thing.

So I contacted the guy I bought them from and he said the oldest was a month old when I got him, making him 9 weeks old and calling. I must have misheard him when he told me their ages.

Kristi 2 - 3 months is not out of the question for calling but at that age, needless to say they are no where near ready for breeding activity but it is cool to see something so unusual. I had some green leg Lamasi call at a very young age, I will try and find the thread to see how old they were as it was years ago and I can't remember now.
Just checked, it was '05 and my frogs were 12 - 14 weeks old.

I wasn't expecting them to start calling already, but it's nice to have a louder frog to hear.
