Default R. sirensis(formerly R. lamasi) Froglet Pics?

I am thinking I have a few tads around in the hidden receptacles. I am curious to see a size reference for froglets so I can have my eyes looking for the right sized darting blur(lol...). I have said this before, but I will repeat, I just don't like rooting through the viv(s). I believe in the value of natural curbing of the adults(leaving eggs/tads) as I see this as the most natural means of suppressing breeding.

If anyone has pics of some froglets with a size comparative, that would be very appreciated!

I don't have pics of sirensis side by side but mine have all morphed out about half or so the size of the parents.....I do have a pic of varadero and a froglet side by side...

This is from what I could figure a week or 2 old froglet and Momma

These guys don't grow much after metamorphosis, huh? I know you had said it was a very large tad, but I was expecting a smaller froglet from the diminutive beauties! All my thanks for sharing!

Varaderos are just stunning to me. I love the hooded coloration on the head and the disparity of the back and legs too! Very awesome frog! Thanks for the pic reference! It seems thumbs produce some big tads/froglets. I guess clutch size should have been a defining clue... LOL!

They do.....I have noticed from all of the varadero and sirensis tads/froglets I have had that the tads do get big but as the morph to froglets they are not quite as big as the size of the tad. In fact I have had some of both that the tads were bigger then the froglet they turned into......I can get you some pics of various froglets here the next few days. I have a grow out that has 14 sirensis of various ages I just had one I was raising that would have easily fit in a dime with room to spare.
