I also need to get a macro lens for christmas lol. I knew these were small, but you have no idea until you first see just how small it really is in person.

Grats! Good luck with them. Ours are doing great. They stopped breeding for a while a few months back but not before getting two other people set up with groups and also setting up a second group of five. We think they will probably start again with the cooler weather. Last time they left us our first tad on Christmas morning!

congrats on the new frog.

as far as size, vanzos are pretty large thumbnails. wait till you see a retic or even a small escudo pumilio. its incredible. i just morphed out some a. zaparo and i could have fit 6 or more on a penny.

how old is your frog? plan on getting more to go with it?

james

I don't know the age, but I'll find out. I was thinking 3 or 4 more, but I don't know exactly how many I should do due to aggression etc... How many would you think in a 18L x 18W x 36H.

You could have a nice sized group in a Viv that big. Vanzos are bigger than imis in my experience, I have a male that is the biggest thumbnail I've ever had. Although I do have a male highland lamasi( sirensis) that might be as big once it hits full size

I just got a reply, he said it morphed out in August. So does that mean from tadpole to frog correct? I plan on picking up a few more once I get a few bills situated.
