Ranitomeya vanzolinii caresheet?
Is there any progress on a caresheet for these little beauties? Otherwise, maybe one could be started in this tread. I keep vanzos for about a year now and have gained much info in the mean time.

Re: Ranitomeya vanzolinii caresheet?
I don't think there's a lot of drive to write one because their care is very similar to imitators. Same goes for flavovittata, and even lamasi to some extent.

Re: Ranitomeya vanzolinii caresheet?
There should still be some indication on the forum for newbies like me to say that this species is similar to the care of (insert species here) to make it easier instead of being a broken record on so many forums saying do research or google it. Isn't that the point of these forums? To help others who need it? I understand that simply asking a question isnt hardcore research, but it's a start to point someone in the right direction.

True, but it's not like John told the OP to do research or google it, he told her this species is similar to the care of (insert species here), aka he DID point her in the right direction. Most of us are happy to help if you have a question.
I agree, there should be more caresheets... but we can't expect Kyle (the owner/admin) to do them all himself, that'd take a damn LONG time. It's up to people like us to make those caresheets, and that hasn't happened yet. There's no real incentive to do so, besides being nice.
Edit: I tell you what, if you wanna write up a caresheet, I'll proofread it for you, and match you by writing one myself. Gotta be willing to stack bricks if you want to live in the new house, know what I mean? The caresheet thing has come up a bunch, but as soon as the person is asked, "do you want to write one?," the interest usually dies off. I'm serious with my offer though.

Sorry I didn't mean it towards him at all, that was just coming from a thread of mine, not this one, my fault.

Re: Ranitomeya vanzolinii caresheet?
If I do go with this frog, I will be happy to help stack some bricks . I meant nothing towards john, he did help the op. I just see so many posts telling people to go research it instead of actually helping. I promise whatever species I do end up getting I will log it on this forum somewhere and if I can keep it in good health I will try write up some type of care sheet. I like to help when I know something, but like I said, I'm a newb to the frog world. If you have a question about reef keeping I'll be happy to try and assist though lol, I am one of the few helping keeping up with information on keeping orange spotted filefish in the saltwater world, which are considered to be left out in the ocean, but I have had great success with mine in captivity. I just get a little frustrated when I ask something and no one wants to give an answer other than research. What's the point of that post? Like I said though, nothing against John in this thread, I should have posted that in mine. Don't wanna hurt anyone's feelings

It's a thumbnails. I don't have the exact measurement but they are typical thumb size...about 3/4" to 1".
