Default show off lichens

Just found some new lichen growing on a cork round figured i would share sorry pics not so great.

Anyone know the species?its neat looking compared to the other types in my tanks.it has a short light mint green stem with a red cap or ball at the top.

Here is some I found on a piece of cork from Petsmart a couple of weeks ago. I hope it survives long term.

thats where i got mine.it also has the same type u have but this new type started growing in

Unfortunately, it has been my experience that this type of lichen doesn't persist in a vivarium setting very long, inevitably 'melting away'. I see it naturally occurring on rock outcroppings and the like where light and, most importantly, clean air are abundant. It gets so dry in the heat of the summer, I am amazed it ever stays alive.

Cool mutualistic organism!
