moss spores

anyone ever grow their moss from spores?

most of the moss in my vivs are from spores. the original moss i had was loaded with spores and it spread all over the viv. it started growing a couple months later. when it first starts growing, it looks like green fuzzy mould. it will grow into recognizeable moss within a couple months.

Nice. I used to grow Kyoto moss from spores all the time when i was really into bonsai. Unfortunately, that's another temperate mossand probably wouldnt do well in a viv. So far, haven't found any tropical moss spores yet. If anyone knows where i could get some, i'd appreciate it. :-)
