Default BIG Plants?

Hello, i have a crested gecko who has seen better days and im working on getting her the correct medications. Right now shes cramped in a little 10gall horizontal. So now i plan on moving her to a big 18x18x24 exo terra vivarium and i need to know some big plants that wont get stomped on by a crested. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have my cresty in a 18x18x24 and have a pothos in the back that's covered the back floor and is starting its takeover of the front and my cresty loves sleeping under it. I also have a Silver Nerved Fittonia in the front right corner that seems to grow a lil everyday and has been very impact resistant.

Hope I helped =)

My son's female crested is in an 18 x 18 x 24 exoterra, and we have a Ficus benjamina planted in the tank. It seems to hold up well to the gecko. You may also be able to use a Schefflera arboricola (dwarf schefflera).

Some Broms attached to the background would provide good hiding spots for her as well as helping keep the humidty up with the water in the axils. Broms would stand up to 'gecko stomping' too plus there are just loads of stunning species to chose from!!!

Regards
Marcus

As already mentioned Pothos would be great. What about an inch plant?

Snakeplant/Mother-in-Law's Tongue (Sansevieria trifasciata) works very well for cresteds. Mine would sleep in it constantly, and it's tough enough to hold up to abuse.

I wonder how i could secure a brom onto a backround so it can hold a crested?

I think some people refer to the many Tradescantia cultivars on the market as 'inch plant'

Tradescantia is what many of us would call wandering jew? Although I really don't like that name, it sounds like something my great grandmother would call somebody without knowing it offended them.

If you've got light, try some of the bigger orchids. They are sturdy. Various cattleya species and hybrids, encyclias, schomburgkias if you have space... You could chop some of them for firewood probably.
