spagnum moss

im using this ontop of coco forest bed to keep th humidity up but ive just read that the moss isnt good for the frogs is this right?

Umm no? Spanish moss has been known to kill some frogs but other than that, no.

If you look around you will see that alot of people use spag moss in their tanks, mostly for temporary and froglet tanks. Oh, and its good to start plant cuttings in.

We use a lot of sphagnum moss, and have had one freak accident where a frog choked on it (I assume, since I found the dead frog and pulled the sphagnum "frond" out, it went far enough down its throat to reach its stomach).

But even with that incident, I wouldn't classify it as "bad" for frogs.
