Default Growing Ficus Pumila from cuttings.

I received around four tiny cuttings of creeping fig, one of which was the oak leaf variety. I am wondering what to do to get them to grow roots fast. i took a deli cup, punctured holes in the lid, filed it with water and put their stems in the water through the holes. What other variables should be met to get them to root?

i usually opt for a small sterilite bin with some damp sphagnum moss as the substrate..

i place the cuttings on top, replace the lid and keep the bin in a brightly lit spot for a few weeks..

i usually mist it every other day to try to keep the humidity up quite a bit..

the major thing is to not let it dry out while it is in a stage of adjusting to higher humidity.

im sire that others do something a little different.

puncturing holes in the lid is not required.

I just pin them to some wet sphagnum and put them on the back wall of my vivs. Or if I'm growing it on the substrate I just drop it on top. This stuff grows for me pretty much however I do it!
