How to get this planted...
My father gave me a cutting of what I am almost certain is Maranta Leuconeura. It's just a random cutting, with about 6 leaves that seem to be doing the proper prayer plant thing - the leaves seem to be moving all right for now. Any case, it's just a cutting and I'm reading that the best way to propagate this plant is by division. With that said, will this cutting work? Right now it's dropped into a wet paper towel in a dixie cup and I was told it should grow roots in no time. Is there anything else I need to do for it? Do I need to wait for the roots before I can place it in the soil?
Yeah. Sorry. Newb about the whole cutting plants thing.
