Will this setup "breed" these plants properly?

So I have a leftover tank Im not using for any geckos, so I figured Id make a mini prop tank for plants I want to use in my other tanks.

I dont care about looks, so much as I care about the plants doing well, and.. propagating.

The soil is 50% Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix and 50% sand.

I have the brom just "sitting" in the soil, and the button fern, Im growing in the cup to make sure its doing well before I plant it into the soil.

Heres the tank:



Im keeping them under a Zoo Med 36" Repti Sun 5.0 UVB bulb for 5 hours a day.


Will this setup do well for the plants? Any others that are easy to grow and would do well in this setup?

The gecko setups will be similar, just with some pieces of cork bark added.
