Default Help with new Orchids

I am almost done setting up my 55 gallon vivarium and was wondering if using these orchids would be ok for it.Thanks!
-Hoya crassipes
-Vanilla orchid
-Dischidia ovata
-Sanseveiria patens

The Sansevieria patens will rot for sure. That one really likes it dry from my experience. The rest should do OK.

And FYI, only the vanilla is actually an orchid. It should do fine, but it might get big.

Yeah, none of those except the vanilla are orchids. It is a nice plant, but be aware that in order to bloom well it needs to be about 30 feet tall.

Does anyone know what the rest are? I bought them on ebay and they were listed as Orchids I guess I got ripped :x

The names you provided look right to me. They are just not orchids.

The Hoya and Dischidia are not orchids but Asclepiadaceae (Milkweeds)

Both of those are pretty commonly used in vivs. There is nothing wrong with them, but it whoever said they were orchids was mistaken. Hoyas grow fast and anchor all over the tank. They are beautiful as long as they don't get out of hand.

Thanks for all the replys, you all were a big help. I just have one more question. Does anyone know how to care for the hoya crasspies and the Dischidia ovata?

Both are epiphytes so just attach them to something with a small bit of sphagnum and don't worry about them. They love high light and humid conditions but if you stick them in a viv potted in soil they will most likely rot.
