Default Phalaenopsis question

I picked up an orchid off the clearance rack at Lowe's and was thinking about putting it in the tall tank I'm building. The nearest I can figure out is that it's some type of Phalaenopsis, since it has wide, thick, waxy looking leaves approximately 8" long. The sign wasn't that helpful, unfortunately. All it said was 'fancy pot orchid'. It has two flower spikes around 1'6" tall and about a dozen blooms on each. The blooms are maybe 1.5" tall and are red wine color with yellow speckles. It was a lot smaller than all the other orchids they had, both in the size of the leaves and flowers. It has a lot of dry, brittle looking roots climbing out of the pot, so I'm sure it will need to be repotted anyway. I was thinking about mounting it as an epiphyte either on the background of the tank or on one of the pieces of wood. I've never tried to grow a store bought orchid in a viv. Does it sound like this one would do well? I can get a picture tonight if it helps.

Please take a look at this and then if you still have questions I'd be glad to try and answer them. http://www.dendroboard.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=24939

Hmm, I'm disappointed that it may not bloom again, but it's an interesting looking plant nontheless. The viv will not be sealed, it will have some airflow near the back. I haven't decided whether I should use fans or just a strip of screen, but in either case it won't be sealed. I don't have a misting system, but plan to run a water feature and spray daily. The plant will probably end up high in the viv (it's the 37 gallon column from Petsmart), so I don't think constant wetness will be an issue.
