actually thats not right. Utricularia and Genlisea actually can do wonderfully in terrariums with frogs. ive got U. sandersonii taking over my azureus tank. always attempting to try new species in tanks

you're right, but I didn't figure he was talking about those. Most people want the "cool" looking plants and you can't even see those eat the bugs. They are not some of the more popular of the CPs.

I have a mini bog that is getting overgrown with utrics and pings, I am about to set up another one and will be looking for some more utrics, and I've never had ginlisea yet. I would like to try them.

No, no, I´m not looking for the most beautiful carnivorous, just one that I´ll survive hehe

Genlisea generally like it warm in humid. i have G. filliformis which has barely survived in my care for 2 years in conditions where its relitives have thrived. my temps are arounf 80 during the day and 65 during the night. for most of the last two years my G. filliformis has taken up an area less than a square 7mm on a side. on a whim 3 or so months ago i put it in with my petoliaris sundews which like it constantly hot and humid(i keep their tank a constant 89 all day everyday) within a week G. filliformis had doubled in size, within 3 weeks it took up an area almost 1/2 inch square and started blooming. granted it has pretty plain flowers compared to some of its easier to find/grow kin but it was one heck of a victory in my book.
