I should be ok on the tree fern panel. I intend on setting up larger cultures and letting them run for a few months until I can split and start making more. Eventually I would like to work them through the Chicagoland area.

Thanks again.

Tree fern does work great to collect them out of there, but I can live without it. For a while at least I'll probably be keeping them on Peat and coco. Hopefully that's close to what Michael uses.

I have extra tree fern panels downstairs so I'm good without it as well.

I can't believe I missed out on these. How did that happen???

Doug, I know you'll get them producing soon. I'm relying on you to get me a culture when you do

Instead of tree fern I use scotch-brite pads that I get in a 10 pack from Smart And Final. Cut them into smaller pieces place on springtails substrate with cucumber or mushroom on top. Simply lift and shake off springs when it's time to harvest.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.Click the image to open in full size.
