Exclamation Nikon d5100

I can't figure out how to get my pics to jpeg or forum size.

Can anybody tell me how to do this?

Pretty sure you need software to do this. I use gimp2 its free and you can scale it to any size and also change the format ex gif to jpg. Try it out

Nice thanks! I was wondering if there was a button or something so I wouldn't have to do something like that? A setting or something?

Any other helpful hints?

I just got a D7000 and all I have had time to do so far is to figure out how to have one card store JPEG and one RAW. I know if you use Picasa to upload pics, they will automatically resize them, and you can choose the size.

Both look free, features a little different. I think gimp is more for editing, and picasa maybe more towards image hosting?

So do I have to set up an account? I don't want to do that either.

For editing I use photoshop (supposed to pay for it unless you want to "find" a copy), and I use picasa for general editing (rotating, cropping, etc) and for hosting. Picasa is part of google, so if you have a gmail account, you are already set. I have never used gimp, so cant say an opinion on that, have never had an issue with Picasa though, and I know they now have some editing software associated with them, I have just never made it around to trying it.
