"Different" Idea for a 10 Gallon Thumbnail Tank
For my first vivarium, I will probably be getting D. imitator. I know, that these frogs are smaller, and will probably need melongaster FF's, and I probably won't see them that much, but I just love them...
So...here's my rather long question.
I was looking at the beginner frog FAQ's (see, I did read it  ), and it said, that in general smaller frogs will soend more time in trees, and off the ground. Well, since D. imitator only gets about the size of a quarter, I was thinking of ways to make a taller tank out of a standard.
I was wondering if there is any way I could stand the 10 gallon up, longways? So it would be like a 10 gallon vert.? Could I make some kind of door with acrylic sheets, then cut a square out in the middle, and put hinges on it, and a door catch, so that I could have access to the rest of the tank?
Has anyone tried, or done this before? If you have, could you either reply, or PM me?
Thanks!
Brock
