Stupid Fogger

So i picked up a laguna fogger and made a custom area in the back corner of my tank using a water bottle in the drainage lair in order to give it open water to fog up. The issue I'm having is that the fog only stays in the general area of the corner instead of filling up the whole bottom. I just bought it so i can't see the ceramic disc being worn out already. Does it need to have open air over it? currently it seeps out of the side of the water bottle.

How saturated is the rest of the tank? I used to use one and found it didn't spread unless everything else was virtually fully saturated...

These foggers rarely work, and if they do it usually isn't for long. I don't know the particular one you mention, but there are a ton of threads on here with people complaining about these. If you want a good one, buy a human grade cool mist humidifier and then use PVC pipe and rubber tubing to plumb it into your tank. There are a few threads around that go into more details on how to actually do this.

The zoo med reptifogger works surprisingly well. I use it for a 60 gallon tank and it fills the whole thing up in 10 minutes. It's lasted me a while and I run it about 1.5 hours a day

I spray it down alot its all pretty wet

Im not the best handyman, but its something I'll have to look into i guess.

i realize the fogger isnt the most attractive thing so youll want to hide it in a corner, but if you put it behind some plants in the middle of the tank, it might spread out more
