sealed lids

I'm starting my second viv after taking 3 years to get over the death of my first frog. Time to move on. I have one major question that i had an issue with the first time. I've already searched but couldn't find what i was looking for.

The last time I had an issue with the flies getting out of my screen top, even with plastic wrap over the top. do they make lids that seal completely? I don't think my new roomate would be a fan of flies getting out..

Im going to use weather proofing thats about a quarter inch thich and a half in wide to put around the top where the glass plates will sit on. I will have 2 pieces of glass to cover the whole thing, and it will be a quarter in the back, 3/4ths front. They will be siliconed together with bigstretch silicone, clear so that it will be able to be opened and closed alot. Ventilation will only happen when i open the tank, and i will have a DIY door type fan, the long narrow ones at doorways of walmarts or home depots. If you look up when you go into big stores, you'll eventually see one, and see why it would be great in terrariums. It'll will supply even air movement over the front glass, for good viewing all the time.
