I would think so (with enough layers). I've used it to keep fruit flies out of sourdough cultures.

Im using coffee filters on the inside, and Im sure its cheaper, but I get it free.

Yeah, definitely go for coffee filters. That is, unless you have clean muslin sitting around that wouldn't be used otherwise.

It is definatley not going to be used, and it is clean, brand new, just wanted to wash it just incase, and I have a huge amount its 36 feet by 4 feet
