well, i have my only current fan set up blowing onto the light fixture and its on the same timer as the light.

But, when i had myold 38 gallon long tank, i had two fans that vlew into the tank. I soon disocverd if they were one all the time humidty went to crap, i experimented some... and what i did was after my humidifer ran, i set the fans to run for about 5 minutes, 10 minutes after the humidifer turned off. worked for me. best bet is to experiment.

I had those fans blowing in, and i had it on a medium speed. if that matters lol.

My fans blow out. They are on a very low setting. Just enough to keep the front glass clear. It really doesn't take much.

My fans and lights are on the same timer. When the lights are on the fans are on.

How you set up your fan system is largely going to be determined by experimenting. Every person's house and tank setup are different, so each tank is subjected to different conditions.
