glass thickness for 20 gallon verticle tank

So I am trying to find glass that can be cut in my area and so far I have only been able to find 1/8 inch thick glass. My plan is to use this glass as the front and door of the vivarium. I am going to have hydroton along with some water and orchid moss as the bottom substrate (about 6 inches in depth). Do you think this is too thin? I just can't seem to locate any thicker glass.

I'm pretty sure that's the standard for vert tanks. I'd use something thicker personally, but it'll work.

Check the yellow pages for glass places. (window repair) Call around - prices can be quite different.

I ordered 2 costom made piece from a local glass cutting place for a 20gl. it was 1/4inch thick. it was just under $30.

The glass I've been using on my 10 verts is 1/16" thick, and it is holding up perfectly. I'd just go ahead and use the 1/8" glass.
