Default timer for misting system

Hey,

I need to find a timer for my misting system. I know that everyone has it run for just a minute or two at a time, an I need to know what timer you have. Thanks!

Do a search on here, or on google for "repeate cycle timer". I can't think of the brand right now. Worms way comes to mind but I'm not positive.

most digital timers at Home depot and Lowes will do 1 minuter increments.
They sell for around $15

most timers at HD and Lowes are crap IME. i went through nearly all of them until Marty (mistking) and Cindy (vivarium concepts) both pointed me toward the intermatic name brand. i wont buy any other one ever again! ive had problems from gallons of water misted in the middle of the night, multiple times coming on for longer than its supposed to, and many times these problems cause the pump to run dry. i think ive tried nearly every digital timer that has 1 minute intervals from my local stores and only the intermatic brand has been dependable.

I always bought the digital timers from home depot. In 6 years of running a 90 reef, I never had a problem with the timers.

ive never had problems with them on 12 hour cycles either, only when trying to run the 1 minute at a time....

I missed that part. I can see how that would be an issue or at least start acting up.

Yes, Worms Way sells a timer that will come on for just seconds or minutes. And it can be programmed to come on many times a day, just a few, or only once.

I actually was referring to the Intermatic timers. I once bought a cheapo timer ($4.99) and it never worked period. Won't do that again.
