Default MistKing Nozzles with different pumps?

I was wondering if these nozzles worked with any kind of water pump, like the Tom Aqualifter or a powerhead or something.

The Aqualifter is a vaccum pump and would suck water from a bucket or other resevoir and then pump it to wherever needed, nozzle, assuming it works.

If the pump can supply the pressure (45 psi), then yes they will work. The pressure rating I give comes from the nozzle manufacturer. You could take one of these nozzles and hook it up to a pump up garden sprayer and it would work.

Awesome. I just didn't want to spend 150+ dollars on a mist system for only a 10g vert.

I've tried every combination of pond pump/aquarium pump/etc. I even tried a 900 gph pond pump on misting nozzles. No love. Don't waste your time. You need a low flow, high pressure pump.

Ugh. Oh well. I guess it would be easier to just buy one of their systems then.

Id like to point out that it is easy to add nozzles and tubing to the system to add more tanks. Which is inevitable once you have one tank.

I use Mistking's nozzles with a Pro Mist pump. I got the more expensive model, but I am up to 16 nozzles and still have great pressure.

So theres no small pump that could provide the pressure for a single 20gal tank? Im limited on space so i doubt ill be expanding too much at any time.
