Frank,

My biggest issue in working with Megophrys is the fact that the males are constanly trying to mate and I have lost a couple of females in the past to overly amorous males who simply will not take no for an answer and will constantly amplexus the female, stressing her out and preventing her from feeding. How are you overcoming that issue?

Also I don't think food variety is as big an issue as you describe in the article. I have a single male Nasuta that has been in my pocession for almost 5 years feeding pretty much exclusively on full size crickets.

Sorry, missed your reply; Thanks very much. I've seen the same with other frogs...many turtles even worse.

Thanks for the cricket comment...what do you feed your crickets, and for how long? Supplements/

Best, Frank

Hello James,

Sorry, missed your commnet..thanks for the kind words. Here's another article on a diet for filter feeding tadpoles; I've not tried it with M. Leaf Frogs, but may be worth investigating; let me know if you try, enjoy, Frank

I gut load my crickets with a mix of fresh greens and Nature Zone cricket total bites and dust with Repashy Multivitamins.
