Default Some mantids for sale

I currently have for sale:
Phyllocrania paradoxa- ghost mantis. L4 and L5 sexed juveniles. $30 sexed pair. (one pair available)
feeding on houseflies, crickets, moths or small dubias

Creobroter pictipennis- indian flower mantis. L2 juveniles unsexed $8 each (4 available)
Feeding on melanogaster or hydei
pretty small still, hard to get a decent pic of these little guys

I prefer local but can ship if necessary. Mantis can ship priority or next day.

wow nice. I've been interested in mantids for a while, but rarely see them up for sale. Would you say the Creobroter pictipennis would take melongaster for their entire lifespan, or do they require larger insects down the road? How large of an enclosure would 2 need?

Creobroter would need at least a 5 gallon for two. They will want somehing bigger than ff's soon. The like hydei now, and will want crickets in a few more months. I can try to sex them if you want a pair, but having an extra male is always a good idea if you want to breed them. Some people will say they are totally non communal, while I've seen others breed a large colony in a ten gallon. Having food available at all times keeps the unwanted cannibalism down.

I have a 10g viv without any inhabitants, so space doesn't sound like an issue. crickets might make it tough, I've been forbidden from having crickets in the house... lol. will they take super worms?

also curious how much they eat as adults, are we talking a cricket every couple of days, or 10 crickets a day?

They'll take food from your fingers, so no crickets necessary. I personally hate crickets. Wax worms or super worms would be fine.

The warmer you keep them the more they will eat.
