Not sure about the timing but certainly have seen both males and females transport from the same clutch.

Thanks Robb.

Viv is a 16 cube. They produce a lot of offspring, this is their third or fourth round, but I've never caught them both transporting at once (they have three clutches in various stages of development at the moment, and 8 froglets growing up). Pretty neat.

A friend of mine actually got a picture of a male in the field carrying two tadpoles. He knew that it was a male because it was calling when he snapped the picture.

Thats pretty cool, I caught two males each sporting a tadpole from a single clutch in my C.Valley tank.

Yeah, my male was actually calling as well, while carrying a double pack.

it has been known that male pumilios will often transport tads when they hear other males calling, not sure how much truth there is to that, but i have several different species in my collection in which case the male was transporting.

I just came across this thread and I saw this the saturday after thanksgiving. I just got home from vacation and caught the male AND female transporting tads from a clutch I thought was a misfire. It was a clutch of 7eggs on a allocasia leaf. They are '08 import cristos kept in a 40b vert.

I know its kind of an old thread but thought I'd share

Very interesting! Not only the male and female transporting, but the other reports (Two males transporting from one clutch etc) are really interesting as well. Makes me wonder if tad raising is more of a community effort in the wild than we know.
