Hello,
Has anyone seen Cristbol like this? My friend said they came from the Crystobal region.

Yes, Cristobols can look like that. If you actually looked at the wild populations of them you would see incredible diversity of patterning - everything from all red with no dots and blue legs to red with black dots with no blue legs (like yours) and everything in between.

Probably not. Actually looks exactly like my male el dorado. Sadly, without site data...

Yep...their ranges probably do cross.

Site data? I'd just be happy for a rough morph range map drawn by JP and a colour poster by Todd.....sigh.

I'm not trying to say that his frog is a Cristobol, I'm just trying to point out that there is much more diversity in the wild then we see in the frogs we have in the hobby. I guess it wasn't really a good time to say it. If we're going by what's in the hobby, then El Dorado would be my guess.

Agree 100prcent. That said, I would not call them cristobal and mix them with other imports, only with those that came in with it.

with out locale info though you wont be able to sell them as anything except orange and black pumilio. PLEASE dont sell them as Cristobals or El Eldorado's unless you have exact locale info to back the name.

According to him, they came from the Cristobol region, so wouldn't that make them Cristobol? Just wondering?
