Default Shedd Aquarium

Took the kids to Shedd this weekend. Just a tip, after 12pm it is a mad house! But I regress, they have some nice dart frogs, Azurues, Teribillis, etc about 6 terrariums set up. Got some great pic, but I noticed that a lot of people loved the frogs more than the fish!

My son wasn't shy about stating to a group of people that we have those frogs at home.

I was there last week, really nice exhibits, though I couldn't find the imitators for the life of me!

There were two different sections, possibly three for the frogs. Amazon and other South American regions. I will have to look back at my pics.

Yeah, there were a number of tanks. In one section there was a large setup with pumilio, auratus and atelopus, in another some pumilio (bastis) and another setup with mantella sp. (though I didn't see one mantella which was a real shame). There is also a bullfrog setup.

In the Amazon section there were a few tanks, imitators with tincs and monkey frogs, a yellow terrib tank (pretty think terribs), and if I am not mistaken an azureus tank. Some other stuff is likely as well. One of the better exhibits I've seen.

I love the Shedd Aquarium. I absolutely cannot wait to be able to take my boys there. Fantastic exhibits, and healthy animals to boot.

And of course you know you have to post the pics right?
