depends on what you mean by simple. Mine only took about half an hour to build(plus drying time for silicon on back and on the front door, and deciding where to put my plants) and it was my first tank. Do you mean low cost?

I think he means cool to look at though, bluedart, not just good for the frogs. I mean i guess some people might think those look cool, but they dont really do it for me. However, they are probably the best for breeding purposes.
I dont know, in my experience over the past couple months, people on this board either make extravagant vivs or just simple ones like that.
So you might have trouble finding what you are looking for. Why dont you just think it through and decide what YOU want?

Default What about...

You can make a varation of the tank above but instead of the false bottom just use a nice gravel to the depth of 3-4 inches. Plant some pothos/scindapsus directly into the gravel. Place some rehydrated long fiber sphagnum over the gravel and throw in some java moss. If you plan on misting heavily place a piece of capped-off rigid plastic tubing in a corner to siphon water from occasionally.

I wouldn't go with a layer of gravel at the bottom. I used gravel for my first viv because it was easy and took basically no work to put in. However it turned out to be a disaster. It was hard to make an interesting landscape and hard to get a good variety of plants. You can make a cool looking viv pretty simply with a false bottom, some soil, a nice piece of wood, maybe some tree fern to cover the sides and adding some variety in elevation here and there.
