it may just depend on what locale the frogs are from. some animal species tend to show more albinos than others. some have several different albino genes that arent compatable with each other(cornsnakes) and some it depends on where they are. whitetail deer are a critter where albinos arent unheard of but for some reason albino whitetails are far more common in the eastern US than the western, infact ive never heard of one in the western US though im sure there have been a couple but in the eastern US there are several populations where they pop up on a regular basis.
why more albino darts are showing up is because more ppl are working with darts, there is more info availible on them so ppl have a better chance at successfully getting WC started and breeding. basically the more different lines you work with, especially WC animals the better your chances are. if more ppl worked at breeding fire belly toads in captivity instead of relying almost totally on WC individuals we would more than likely see some albino individuals pop up
