Default Tank and Plants

I thought it looked a little bare with only the one bromeliad...

So, thanks to Jace King's wonderful trade, I stocked the tank with a few more!

There are three small creeping fig cuttings planted at the base of the backdrop. Hopefully they will climb up and eventually cover the back wall. I hope, I hope...

Oh, ho ,ho...they will. That stuff is relentless, but it it's nice to have something that grows fast for those of us that are impatient for greenery. I use it for that myself.

They will... and it won't be long.

By the way, I think this picture better shows the waterfall and saturated substrate issue from your other thread. Because your broms are out of the substrate, I don't think you'll have a problem with them rotting. If by capillary action your entire substrate becomes saturated, you should probably do as you suggested in the other thread and remove the coco bedding around the water feature and replace with gravel, leca, etc. If the bedding is only saturated in the immediate vacinity of the water feature, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

What type of fern is that? I've been looking for one that will stay somewhat small and not overtake the tank. By the way, your tank looks much better with the additional plants. Thanks!
