Default Nano viv...

I had this 2 gallon aquarium sitting around and wanted to make it into something, so i turned it into a nano viv. I had to make the screen top with vinyl screen and black ribbon with velcro to attach it on the sides. It reminds me of a cross section of one of my normal sized vivs. The only use that I can think of for is is to temporarily house a juvenile dart or maybe a hospital tank. So far i have used it to keep an azureus froglet while i cleaned out it's tank.

The two plants closer to the front are just baby spider plants and the back two are fake. I didn't have any other small plants at the moment. The divider is probably the same as what you have, it is normally used for fish tank filters, maybe called filter floss (can't remember). It comes in blue and white. The candle next to it has never been lit, and probably never will be. It's just decoration. I wouldn't light anything that close to a viv anyway. The scary things now that i look at the picture are that the thing in front of the viv is an inscence burner (though I haven't burned inscence in years), and the thing to the left is also some form of oil inscence thing, i don't know what it is called, but i don't use it either. Why do I have all of these things?? especially next to a viv. It's like I am trying some cruel experiment or something.

This is pretty cool. I haven't seen a nano vivarium before and this I can tell you is just phenomenal. I never thought that it could be done, well not on this scale.

That Azureus looks real enough to me, and they are one of the larger darts. I think most people will frown upon keeping any dart perminitly in a 2g. though there was a recent post... Froglet nursery-Nano palm size wetland ...for a pygmy frog nursery half that size, and those guys look like they're at home.
