Default Request to see: 30g "tall" (24" x 12" x 24")

I'm supposed to be adopting a tank soon and am thinking of using it for my Auratus... I have three tank size choices but this is the biggest (1: 15g tall, 20" x 10" x 18", 20g tall, 24" x 12" x 18", and the 30g)...
Same footprint as the 20g but the added height seems like it would be nice for plants.
So, if you have one (or had one) lemme see it
And yes, I've done searches and have seen a couple but most of what comes up for 30g isn't the tall kind.

Well, not exactly what I was looking for as neither of those are the 30g tall/dimensions mentioned but I thank you for posting them, though I will say those cork bark shelves are a neat idea (would look nice with some other hanging plant in them) and slipperhead 1) what is that begonia on the far left side and 2) what lighting do you have on there?

That begonia is commonly called the "Rex" begonia, although I'm not sure of its ID. That grows really fast(already have two more stems popping from the base. Lighting: Those are regular shoplights, but to give a cool tropical feeling to show vivs I'll use the Coralife COLORMAX bulbs.

Best,

William Hanson

Thank you, my husband thinks they look goofy. The reason for them was the back wall looked bare and I wanted more places for the frogs to be able to sit and hang out. I planted creeping fig in the corkbark above the waterfall (the fig hides the water which I like) and if they take root, I will plant more in the shelves. I was just concerned that the soil was not deep enough.

Well, they look a little odd right now because the viewer sees the cut ends, but once they have plants growing out over them they will look pretty snazzy
The creeping fig doesn't need a whole lot of soil to get started so hopefully that will work out.
As long as the fig gets to root on the cork, not just in the dirt, I think it will be good, for a second I thought "would the weight of the frogs pull the plants off" or something but if they get rooted they should be ok, plus it's a dart, not like they weigh as much as other things. hehe

Then I think I will go put the fig in them tonight. I have a huge plant so even if it doesn't work, I haven't really lost anything.

WOW!! I love it. Is the water feature only on the left side of the tank, or does it extend behind the land on the right? You seem to have some really nice plants in there. Thanks
