Default Viv Construction Photo Journal for Cayo Nancy

This weekend I started and finished the construction of the vivarium for my pumilio Cayo Nancy. I still have to add several bromeliads because the ones I have now didn’t fit the viv.

Here’s the construction photo journal.

Apply silicone for better adeshion.

Measure / cut the driftwood to fit the viv

Cut the false bottom

Fill the back of the wood with foam in an effort to avoid rot and to keep frogs more visible

Glue wood to back of tank and fill remaining space with more foam. Instead of using coco (ran out) I got some old fern panels I had from the orchids and attached them to the foam.

I have no clue, I saw it on a small pot on a store and just bought it because it was beautifull.

Thanks for the coments.

This viv is 43cm wide, 53 tall and 33 deep, so that makes it 19 gallon capacity.

That Asparagus fern is going to go nuts, one day you'll look in and it will just be wall to wall fern, kind of like fog in super foggy places
