Default Water hiding ok?

I have 4 leucs about 5 months old. And one always hides under water, is this ok? He comes up again though.

OK, yeah. I have a water feature where they can jump around and over on rocks, but I just noticed this hiding behavior by only one of them today. And he hides under a ledge of some wood under water, then comes out when he is less scared.

does it have enough cover on land to hide under? My leucs needed TONS and TONS of plants. I kept adding large leafy plants and they started coming out more. Try adding more plants to their tank. It will make them feel safer.

One of my azureus would randomly go under water and just sit. Maybe he was just bored.

I am talking about that viv, and yes I have added more. I know they needed more than that. And I added some leaf litter as well.

My auratus used to do that all the time back when they had a pond. One of them would actually burrow in the gravel underwater. It worried me, but they can usually get themselves out of sticky situations.
