Default Can frogs go in the 18"x18"x18" exo-terra viv

Can frogs go in the 18"x18"x18" exo-terra viv? That is about 25 gallons.

I was wondering if this is big enough for Leucs? And if so how many?

I want to breed whatever frogs I put in here, so if Leucs are not a good choice, what else could be?

I am looking at the less expensive, easy to care for frogs.

I had 3 Leucs in my 18 cubed exo terra. Just make sure you fruit fly proof the vents and cracks in the doors.

I have several set up. One with a pair of leucs. Others each with a pair of tincs. I increase their floor space by attaching driftwood and cork to the sides. There are a couple of pictures in my gallery of a few of the set up.

Some folks go to the extent of modifying the front horizontal vent with inserting a fine piece of mesh. Personally, I never messed with doing this and I have 6 Exo Terras. I do have glass cut to lay on the top screen portions though. This helps elevate humidity and helps cut back on the escapee FF's a little.

I have a pair of azureus in my 18"^3 Exo Terra. They are good tanks for darts, probably the best commercially available ones. It only takes a small amount of relatively easy modifications to make them perfect.

Personally, I sealed the front vents with black silicone and pulled out the screen on top and replaced it with glass. Exo Terra also makes a top meant for a pair of coil lights that looks very nice and puts out a lot of light. You can have two on the tank. Makes my plants look a lot nicer than the old fluorescent aquarium light I was using.

I might suggest if you have the room to arrange the tank so that the doors open to the side, so you have an unobstructed view in the front.

Well, here is an idea...

I found this on eBay and hope to try it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...175871061&rd=1

The guy has a lot

I hope to cut it, place it around the base. Then this will block me substrate and clay pellets and look nicer. Also it will go up to the black lock on front.

I plan to get some glass cut, but was wondering if FFs come out of the vents in front?

And in terms of Leucs, how many could go in there?

Coating the inside walls with black silicone would accomplish the same thing as sticking that sheet on the sides, but I guess that link isn't badly priced either.

Yeah, i know, probably cheaper than black silicon, and looks nicer too I think. Probably would stick via silicon. But, I am kinda sad, but also happy, found a betetr deal on a tank, 24" x 18" x 21.5" tall Pretty good size tank for only like $30.00. So no Exo-Terra for me. Price is way to high for those, although they are nice. I wish prices were lower, ALOT lower! Well, no need for that plastic any more, but in the future I know I will be getting some Exo-Terra's so I'll keep this item saved. Maybe someone else could try this plastic sheet and let us know how it works?
