Default Check em out

Look what I found this morning . And I thought their first two clutches went bad ! They must have hid one on me . And I found a new clutch in there this evening . My first Cauchero froglet

This little guy was totally unexpected !

I almost hope he keeps the spots but that probably woln't happen .
I thought I saw another one and a little movement in a brom axil so I think there are a couple more .

Here are a couple new pictures of the Solarte that came out last week .

I don't know if the internal air circulation fans I installed on the new tanks has an effect on helping eggs not go bad . I wonder weather keeping the air moveing helps them from molding or going bad ? This has been pretty quick to get froglets from two out of two tanks on this rack from new imports .

My other rack setup has tanks with no internal air circulation and I have had six tanks with almost constant breeding going on and have had good eggs laid in all and only have had live froglet sucess in two tanks in the last year , and only pair one that is regularly sucessfull . All the others usually have the eggs go bad . So I don't know if it's the air movement keeping the air from going stagnant or just coincidence .

Any thoughts anybody ?

I knew I saw some movement in there ! It's hard to believe how small this brom pup is to have a froglet to grow up in it . Wow ! I don't know how the female squeezed her but in there to drop off the eggs .

This one must just have taken its first venture out of the water . It isn't as big as the first one and is lighter in color also .

I found another unexpected suprise this weekend . After finding most of their last clutches of eggs eaten before I knew they were even there , and the ones I do find and pull usually dry out or mold before anything happens with them ( I have to find a new place to keep them ) .
This weekend I had a fellow neighborhood dendroboarder over to show him my frogs and tanks , and none of my frogs wanted to show themselves ops: . Then we look in the intermedius tank expecting to see nothing and I see this !  My first non Pumilio froglet . Soo cool .

Also fed by the parents !

I didn't notice untill I posted the picture all the springtails in the brom axle

Here are a couple petco sale tanks I have going together . All I could get were 20 H's . I went back a few days late and all the 40 breeders were gone , I guess ya snooze ya loose  .

A 20 H with sliding doors with a quick and easy tree fern background , I figure this would be thinner than GS to keep as much floor space as possible .

I chopped the front piece of glass out , cut it in half and used it for the top and front dam , then added a couple vents . And re-glued the black frame back on top to cover the top door glass frame .

And a couple more 20H verts . Basicly the same construction on these except I cut out the side instead of the front flipped it up on end and added the vents .
