First PDF's

Before I start, I would like to apologise for the shocking pictures.

Bought 3 Auratus today. The one has alot of turqoise on its lower half which doesn't show in the pics. It's taken 3 months to find them as they are illegal in South Africa. Will post better pics tomorrow during the day.

One question... There is a heatwave here at the moment (33 celsius/91 fahrenheit) I'm really worried about leaving them while I'm at work as I should be keeping them between 70 and 80. How could I keep them cool until I get an airconditioner? The temporary tank I got them in is really well ventilated which I heard is also not good. Should I seal off most of the vents?

I have a normal desk fan that I could use.

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I dont want to mess this up.

How did you get some auratus if PDF's are illegal in SA?

I'm using a repti glo 2.0 from exoterra. As I said before it took 3 months to find them. I'm not one for breaking the law but natcon over here doesn't have a clue about fauna & flora. They think anything exotic will wipe out our indigenous species. Truth is a PDF wouldn't last an hour in this climate. Its also illegal to move a reptile from the road but you are allowed to kill it :?

I'm sure most exotics were smuggled at some point in the past. I know mine were captive bred here. The breeders suriname cobalts dropped eggs so I might get a pair/trio of those.
