Default 25 hex just planted

I recently bought this 25 gallon hex as a x-mas present to myself. It has a nice height as well as floor space. I'm planning on putting 2 or 3 retics in here in the future weeks/months to come. The bottom is heavily covered in leaf litter. Plants include 4 vriesa, 1 neo, 2 philodendron sp., a smaller orchid sp., and a type of ivy. I wanted to keep the viv relatively simple, and I left a good bit of open area for the vriesa pups to really grow in. I'm also using some moss from BJ.com and will see how that holds up. The lighting is a 24" strip of CF @ 65 watts. Please ignore the reflections and yellow hue of the last 3 photos. I forgot to change the white balance.

REALLY nice Tyler!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Antone on both things. The flow from top to bottom is balanced real nice and natural looking! The leaf little is REALLY nice. I would agree that a fern would be nice, maybe to the right-side of photo #3.

I'd like to see more pics in about 3 months. Be sure to post!

What mix of material did you impregnate into your background... looks more like dirt than coco fiber to me... and I like it. Please share, as I've got multiple foamed but not glued/fibered tanks and a date with the caulking gun this weekend.

Beautiful tank!

Looks great!

I like the green leaves mixed with the others...it kinda adds another element and makes it more "alive" I guess.
