the tadpoles are officially one month old today..

As a bonus, I was feeding their parents tank a few minutes ago, and found the following (in the same exact spot as the first clutch) :

Video of the parents coming up soon, it is taking FOREVER to load >

sorry, better picture:

going to leave them in the tank until they are ready to hatch... they are at an accessible place, so I can monitor them often if needed

Great news on the tadpoles and new eggs! I will be putting my group all together tomorrow after getting the new one fattened and adjusted after shipping, so hopefully they will lay soon. I hope the tadpoles continue to do well this time.

I think we are on week 6 right now..

back legs are fully formed, still small though..

tadpoles have doubled in size in the last two weeks.

they are all in different stages now. I have about 20 that look as though they will be out of the water very soon.. the other 30 or so have a while to go, and others in there look stunted..

I also need to whack back all of that creeping fig that has seemingly taken over the tank in what seems like overnight

Good news on the tads and new eggs! I also noticed with mine that they really developed at different rates... there was up to 4-5 months between the first and last to morph. Definitely seed those growout tanks with springtails if you haven't already!

almost done with their aquatic phase... we are at week 7 1/2 right now..

front legs are visible on most of the tads.. shouldn't be too long now..

a few of them are changing shape and have started to develop back patterns.
