Default Southern corroboree frog

While browsing the web I found this video. It's short, but interesting. sadly these frogs are very rare. Australian anurans have taken a huge hit over the past few years.

Enjoy!

Cool, the pattern is very similar to a fire salamander.

I was trying to get the Zoo to get this species several years ago which is when the research station where most of the captive breeding in Australia took place burned down in a huge out of control brush fire.

This is another species that has been severly impacted by chytrid.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I didn't see any point of creating a new one while there already is one with a great link to a video by andersonii (BTW thanks for the link)

I came across the attached picture by accident and was simply stunned by its beauty. Did some more search and learned basic about this frog at Wikipedia : Corroboree frog

Click the image to open in full size.

Unfortunately it states "It is currently listed as critically endangered and is considered to be one of, if not, Australia's most endangered species", so I am sure you don't see them in hobby but I really like to see them in person
I see Taronga Zoo in Australia has them but I was wondering if any zoo or aquariums here exhibit them ...
