Nate you and your highly controversial topics . . . it's always the quiet ones!

I'd say they have every right to be there. I can also totally understand why the families of the victims would be upset and that is their right as well. They also have the right to buy some real estate across the street and build a 9/11 memorial, or a church, a synagogue or whatever else they want. That's the beauty of liberty.

Imagine if the planes were flown by Christian or Jewish "extremists" . . . would everyone be rallying around banning the building of churches and synagogues?? I doubt it . . .

Of course there are. But again why do they need to put it right there?

Put it 2 miles away and you probably solve everything

A few ignorant and loud people do not make this an uprising.

You're still wrong. It wouldn't change anything. These same loud and ignorant people would just find some other reason to object.

It has always been ok when the people don't look like "us." Didn't you know that? :sarcasm:

Or they could build a Death to Muslims organization across the street from the Mosque.

This is their right. They should be allowed to practice their "religion."

But to get back to my original point it is just not conscientious of other people.

Right or wrong, legal or not, some things are likely to incite some kind of trouble. Is it within a supermodel's legal right to crawl around in the alleys between abandoned buildings in the South Bronx in the middle of the night wearing nothing but a string bikini? Sure is.....

If it was to be built on the SITE of the WTC I'm sure it would incite some kind of trouble.
