Default Add another one to the list...

Saw this on CNN:

Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com

I wonder at what point they're going to block off the border to Florida, collect native, threatened/endangered species and relocate them elsewhere, and just give up on Florida. Or start using it to breed other animals (maybe just relocate endangered herps in Africa and Asia into Florida and use it as a breeding facility; if they'll do well anywhere, they'll do well in Florida).

Its a shame because these invasive species are so beautiful in their native environment, and they are such a pain here. These things are what make legislators want to ban reptiles and amphibians from the pet trade.

Not that it is right, but it is old news. They have been in FL for a while.
Here could be a future advertising ad for tourism:

If you have always dreamed of taking an exotic vacation, but couldn't afford it, Wait no longer. Come to Florida where you can see monkeys, iguanas, Nile monitors, Burmese pythons, parrots, cobras, boas, caimans and more.
