Geckosunlimited.com is a good gecko forum. Don't forget this is a DART FROG forum.

Why is it that when someone asks a question about a gecko, or whatever, we have to tell them "this is a dart frog forum!"?

Dont get me wrong but come on, there is people posting threads like, "post your dogs" or "post you birds"....

Because this is a dart frog forum, not a gecko forum or cat forum or ferret forum.

If you want good information, go a site that is specific to your needs. I dont go on a spider forum to ask advice about keeping frogs.

I think a simple 'Here is a better resource for you '[link]' or something like that would have sufficed. Maybe they didnt know about that forum.

Edit: Also, a lot of people have been posting various geckos on here the past couple of days, so maybe Swirlygig thought one of those people could help?

Wow thanks for the warm welcome...I mean come on!

First off I am not an idiot and I know this is a Dart frog forum and asked because, yes I was looking for something like a link...

I was hoping people would be more friendly on here, it is such a shame...

I think it would be nice if some people on here learned some manners...

This forum has had some of the most rude people...You guys are drama queens...

If you didn't like my thread, then just keep it to yourself...

Umm, I'm gonna take a stab at this and guess maybe he/she has gotten familiar and comfortable with people in this forum and would prefer input from our members???? Why is it that so many people get lashings for asking simple or off topic questions? Damn! You don't like it, don't respond. I don't prefer, nor do I have a great deal of time to look here, there and everywhere for all the answers to my questions, so sometimes I ask a redundant or off topic question too. There's no rule that says you have to respond, so chill. Maybe someone is into both and can help. Maybe not. So just because this is a dart forum, does this mean that every other aspect of our lives has to be omitted from discussion?

What species were you looking for specifically? Golddusk day geckos are one of the more common species you may be able to find locally, but there's a good chance you will have to look online. I would suggest Geckos Unlimited and see if there's anything on there.
