I always disliked Tootsie Rolls. Why are those things so popular?

I love tootsie rolls. I bought a huge bag of them for Halloween and some to bring to MWFF. I have opened the bag and eaten about 1/4 of it. I always have some sort of candy in the house.

I bought some hersheys with almonds yesterday..thinking that if I start buying now I will have enough candy for my busy Halloween neighborhood when the time comes. My beagle and shepard thought otherwise ... when I got home this evening I found my living room lined with hershey wrappers. So I believe my household is not doing so well with the candy thing, and I am looking at the other bag right now!

I wait for the kids to bring home a cache and then I eat that. Pretty much in that order too, except Baby Ruths are at the top, and what's up with no love for Twix?

I don't buy halloween candy. I've lived in this house for 13 years and had one trick-or-treater and that was the day I moved in. Escrow closed on 10/31/95, we slept over in the empty house on the floor in sleeping bags, a TV, a VCR with scary movies and a take out pizza. The kid came to the door, I told him I was sorry, I didn't have any candy. He looked through the door at the empty room (no furniture) and said he could see that.

My last house, I lived in for 19 years, not a single trick-or-treater there either. All just part of living in the country, houses are few and far between.

Now, if you were asking about Easter candy, I regularly rob the Easter Bunny and have to replenish his supplies.

You do know a very small amount of chocolate will kill a dog, right?

Yes, apparently that does not apply to my dogs. I have called my vet more then once in their lives for this issue - particularly for my beagle who is 10 going on 2...they also like fruit fly cultures. No counter is to high, as I know but I still forget now and again.

Good, just wanted to make sure they were okay.

Now ff cultures, that sounds as much like a doggie treat as a kitty litter box, I'm thinking they'd love them,
